Latest Updates from Our Project:

Images of the Tuck Cases from Clove St. Press
about 6 years ago – Wed, Apr 25, 2018 at 12:12:22 AM

Dear backers,

I received these images this evening from Clove St. Press. The tuck cases printed beautifully.

I received a comment from a backer about your mailing address check. You did not miss an e-mail from me on the 23rd. Last night I used the "Verify Address" function through BackerKit. What I believed was an e-mail going out to all backers turned out to be only an electronic verification of the address each of you gave when you backed the project, not an opportunity for backers to verify and/or change their address if necessary. As a result, I am planning to manually send an e-mail tomorrow to backers asking them to check their mailing addresses and provide an updated one if necessary. I will be sending this e-mail from my g-mail account. Please be on the look out. If your address has not changed, no response will be necessary. If it has, please let me know, and I'll make the appropriate changes. I have kept up with all the changes that have been sent so far so this is a just in case check. I can't wait for you to have your cards.

Production Update 4/17
about 6 years ago – Tue, Apr 17, 2018 at 09:44:12 PM

Well, the snow that swept across the nation stranded the cards in Nebraska over the weekend but they are on the move again—this morning in Denver. The tuck cases will be letterpress printed by Thursday of this week. The seal will be shipped on Friday. Everything is in order. I'll send out a "Finalize Your Address" message next week so you can update/verify your mailing address for me prior to shipment. We are getting so close!

Delivery is a matter of weeks away!

Great news! The Giclee poster prints are in, and embossed, and look beautiful! (I know this image looks soft focus but the prints are crisp and clear.) The printing and decking of the cards is complete, and they will ship from USPC to Art of Play on Monday. (They ship by freight so it will take a week or so for them to get to San Diego.) This coming week, we'll be printing the tuck cases now that we know how many decks were printed. Fulfillment should be two to three weeks away.

I'll keep you posted!

Production Update
about 6 years ago – Tue, Apr 03, 2018 at 08:56:35 PM

Good evening. I wanted to give you all an update about the production schedule.

The cards were printed last Thursday, a little later than promised, and should be out of production (die cutting/packaging/etc.) to be shipped to Art of Play by April 9th. I have not seen the printed cards yet but my contact at USPC is an Austen fan and she thinks they look great!

While the shipped cards and uncut sheets are in transit, the tuck cases will be printed by Clove St. Press and ready to go by the time the cards arrive in San Diego.

By the second week in April, you should receive a final address check in your e-mail so please watch for that. I want the items to ship to the correct address.

The Queen and Jack posters are printed an in transit to me (the test prints are beautiful!). I will add the embossed stamp and then ship the posters and the T-shirts to Art of Play.

Fulfillment by Art of Play for the orders should take a couple of days.

If my math is correct (and it could be off—there is a reason I became a designer and not an accountant), the cards and other items should be shipped out to you by April 23. I promise to keep you notified if this changes.

I am so excited to see the finished deck, and I so appreciate your support.

Jane Remains on Track for Mid-April Delivery
about 6 years ago – Mon, Mar 26, 2018 at 06:54:22 PM

The cards have been printed and they are now in the finishing process at USPC. They should ship late this week, or early next week to Art of Play for Fulfillment. Clove St. Press will print the tuck cases as soon as we have a final count of the number of decks produced. The fashion plate Giclee prints look fantastic! I am waiting for the embossing seal to arrive so those can be finished.

I know I have tested your patience more than once, but it is all coming together beautifully. I hope you'll be as excited as I am.

A number of you have told me that you need to update your mailing addresses. I will be sending a final mailing address check and opportunity for you to do update yours if necessary in the next two weeks, so watch your e-mail!
